Day 4 - Fort Pierce to Jupiter Island Lighthouse

Today was another glorious day to ride bikes! First and foremost, 0 flats, our key indicator of a great ride! :) In total we only rode 55 miles today.  We had the wind at our backs all morning, some clouds to keep us cool, enjoyed some time to play at the beach along Jupiter Island.
At the end of the day, we phoned a friend to help transport us to the next camp. And, it was a good thing, as a big storm came up as we waited at the lighthouse.

Beautiful sunrise at camp -

An irishman's mailbox, all ready for St Pattys Day-

The scenery was wonderful today,  I love the Banyon tree lined road along St lucie Blvd.... Amazing!

Mom, Jupiter Island is just your style, you would love it here!

The drawbridge at Jupiter Lighthouse jut as the storm blows in....

You can barely see the lighthouse through the rain.

And the friendliest taxi service in West Palm, my TSYS friend Chris.
Thanks for picking us up in the pouring rain and getting us safely to camp tonight.

Goodnight from Lake Worth......

  1. Weather Channel had Jupiter, Florida as part of their news: 5" of rain! Expect severe storms today (3/6) and stay safe!
